I have been a fan of JJ Watt, since he came into the NFL, not so much because he is such a great player.

He is!

More because of how he seems to present himself and the obvious love of the sport he is so gifted at playing.

This article was a nice reminder that sometimes players do love the sport that they get paid so handsomely to play and I truly believe that JJ Watt is one of those that does love his sport.

What in the hell does this have to do with you or anyone else.

I am not in any way a gifted athlete (other than I am a stubborn old bastard), but I do fiercely love my sport – running in my own way, as much JJ Watt loves football. I keep coming back to it after surgery, numerous injuries and all the other stuff that I have endured to simply keep running over the past 40 plus years.

Now, if only I was as gifted at running, as he is at football, all would be right with the world.
