This is the first week in a long time that I haven’t felt overwhelmed and just out of sorts since September rolled around. What happened, well I finished reading the book Focus and re-read some of the The Power of Less by Leo Babauta.
His books reminded me that I can control the “little things” and that it is okay to just let go of the stuff I can’t control i.e. Education Policy.
I also started taking Vitamin D supplements again. I was diagnosed with a significant Vitamin D deficiency back in April (I don’t eat or drink very many dairy products) and finished the regimen in August. I don’t know if it has any bearing on how I was feeling, but since I started re-taking this supplement, I am feeling better. Who knows, but I think I will continue to take my Vitamin D supplement.
Below are my 5 most read blog post this past week.
A majority of readers continue to read the Paper Airplane Lesson Plan which surprises me, but I if anyone who has used or improved it for their classroom, would give me some feedback, I would appreciate it. It made it to our 7th Grade general education English Curriculum Lesson Plan book this week.
I changed my theme one last time, the backend management of the other (which I really loved) proved to be a bit too daunting, where I had disabled some of the features that the author had in place originally. I tried to keep it simple and just used Blogger’s Template Design tool to make the theme more distinctively mine.
Thank you everyone who took the time to read my blog posts this week.
